The Student Welfare Organisation owns the student residences in which you will live during your study at Bodø University College. Its office is located at the information desk by the main entrance to the university college.

The Student Welfare Organisation owns 5 student residences, Øvre Hammarlia, Nedre Hammarlia, Høglimyra and Skavdalslia (all located close to the campus) and Flatvold (on the outskirts of the city). Altogether these student halls contain around 450 rooms. All student residences have a laundry room located in the building or nearby. 

Self-catering apartments are available for students to rent. They are located within walking distance of the university. The student housing maintains a high level of quality, including modern facilities such as a TV room, internet connection, pay phones and a laundry.  Students should apply for accommodation here as early as possible because the apartments are very popular.  The Student Union has roughly 550 apartments for rent.

Private housing is available but this is left to the applicants’ own discretion and must be arranged by the individual applicant himself/herself.
