Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture (FBA) is one of the leading academic environments within aquaculture and marine sciences in Norway. Being located on the seaside, Bodø offers a perfect environment for studies and research within these fields. The research focus of FBA is in the field aquaculture, marine ecology and marine genomics and the interaction between these fields. The Faculty is organized in five research groups.

We offer bachelor programmes in biology (in English), aquaculture (in Norwegian) and export marketing (in Norwegian), MSc in Aquaculture and MSc in Marine Ecology (both in English), as well as a PhD programme in Aquaculture (in English).  In addition we offer semester packages for exchange students. An ocean of exciting professional work prospects, in Norway as well as abroad, awaits candidates graduating from our Faculty. You will learn methods and develop skills, which will be attractive for employers also in other businesses.
